The efforts in improving critical thinking skills are carried out by applying the problem-based learning model using “blended learning” method. Blended learning method is implemented by integrating the face-to-face learning with online learning into the syntax of problem base learning. Face-to-face learning is done in the classroom, while the form of online learning is done by utilizing internet facilities and online discussion forums. This type of research is categorized as a classroom action research with quantitative descriptive research methods. The instrument used to collect data was a critical thinking test sheet and an observation sheet.

The results of this study that urban villages have lower number of poor people than rural villages. In addition, villages with lowland topography have lower number of poor people. For distance variable, the farther away the villages from the regency/city capitals, the higher the number of poor people.

The village funds management gained obstacles because of the human resource capabilities limitation. This research was classified as qualitative research by using questionnaire and direct interview. The research result showed that the average level of education of village funds managers was about high school level, so that their financial awareness was also limited. The regulation and management of village funds were not visibly comprehended by managers so there were still obstructions occured in every village. A financial attitude with a cautious attitude in village funds management was very high.

Based on the results of the analysis carried out on the data and assumptions obtained, it can be concluded that there is no choice between renting and buying with loan that is always superior to all conditions in providing business space.

The experimental investigation was conducted using a miniature scaled bus with the length and width of the bus is 39 cm and 15.5 cm respectively. Long-term exposure of humans to phenol-contaminated water causes health problems such as anorexia, progressive weight loss, and liver disorders. This emphasizes the importance of addressing and reducing phenol contamination to safeguard human health. Various treatment methods have been applied, including filtration, reverse osmosis, and adsorption. Among these, adsorption is widely used due to its simplicity and cost-effectiveness, with activated carbon as the most commonly used adsorbent. This study comprehensively reviews previous studies on agricultural waste-based activated carbon (palm shell, candlenut, and rubber) for phenolic compound removal. It examines characterization data (BET, XRD, SEM-EDX, and FTIR) and adsorption performance, aiming to provide recommendations of the most promising biomass for developing efficient activated carbon.

AbstractCost of Goods Manufactured is a very important thing to calculate the selling price and profit and loss of a company. This research helps PT ABC determine the Cost of Goods Manufactured which is more accurate to determine the right selling price with traditional methods and TDABC. The traditional method alocate the same value of direct and overhead labor costs for each product based on the number of units needed and provide less accurate calculations. The TDABC method provide more accurate direct labor and overhead costs by alocating the costs into each activity that has added value and the production process time for each type of product.

Regression model developed in three models total debt, long term debt and short term debt. The results showed that in total debt and short term debt model are a partially bond yield has no effects on leverage while the company size and liquidity significantly negative affects on leverage. In long term debt model is a partially bond yield has positive effect on leverage, size has no effect on leverage, and liquidity has positive effect on leverage. The results of this study can identified that leverage pattern in line with short term debt. Path following control is one of the most proposed control scheme to achieve this objective. In this paper, the path following control, based on the Lyapunov stability approach, designed specifically for a bus, will be proposed and tested experimentally. The mathematical model of the bus kinematics and controller will be presented. The main concerns of the presentation will be the technical details of the path following control implementation such as the design of the system, the controller and actuator and also the data communication among all components.

A microbial approach, using microbes isolated from the rumen, may be an alternative eco-friendly option to prevent and treat this metabolic disorder. Lactic acid-utilizing bacteria isolated from the rumen can be a new alternative as it is naturally increasing during low ruminal pH conditions. Through several studies, a potential bacterium which can alleviate acidosis condition in ruminant is discovered. MF926250, which has a high activity of lactic acid utilization, may become the potential to a ruminal acidosis in the area of ruminant agriculture.

Auditors as people who play an important role in the audit process are often closely related to stressful conditions. This is because they are put a lot of pressures at work and sometimes at the same time have to balance between two incompatible demands competing against each other. Being professional and achieving an excellent performance can be challenging when an auditor is facing a role conflict. The main purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the impact of role conflict on auditors performance in the Audit Board of Indonesia in East Nusa Tenggara Province.
The population in this study are all auditors in the Audit Board of Indonesia in East Nusa Tenggara Province counted to 86 auditors, while the sample of this study are 46 auditors. This study uses a simple regression analysis to analyze and test the hypothesis. The finding of this study shows that role conflict significantly affect auditors performance. The result of this study makes a contributions to the Audit Board of Indonesia in their employment selection. Implications of the findings are discussed and directions for future research are offered. The teaching activities of lecturers in the first cycle and the second cycle were 36 (good category). Student learning activities in the first cycle is 35 (good category) and in the second cycle is 34 (good category). The conclusion of this study is the application of problem-based learning (PBM) using the blended learning method can improve critical thinking skills and student learning activities in biochemical courses.
